Meet Tammi Alderman - Conductor of the Falcon Choirs
The Conductor
Tammi Alderman has been a music educator for ten years and is in her sixth year as Director of Choral/Vocal Music at Crescenta Valley High School. She holds a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting and Music Education from Washington State University. Tammi conducted high school, junior high and church choirs in Colorado before relocating with her husband to Southern California.
Her choirs consistently receive the highest ratings in festivals and competitions locally and nationwide. Students from all seven of her choirs have been selected to be members of honor choirs at regional, state, divisional and national levels. She regularly hosts and adjudicates festivals in the greater Los Angeles area.
Ms. Alderman is currently on the Board of the California Choral Director's Association as the Chair for High School Repertoire and Standards and also serves as Chair of High School Honor Choirs for the Southern California Vocal Association.
